Are you able to find a second job, or turn a hobby into a profitable business. If you do have spare time, look for ways that you could use this time to earn an extra income.

Get into the habit of writing down everything that you spend, make sure that you include every single spend down to the last penny. By doing this you will be gaining a better awareness of where your money is actually going. Once you are in full control of your outgoings, those savings could be used to pay off your debt.

Every bit of money that you gain from doing the above should then go towards paying off your debts. Remember once you have paid off your debts, you will have more money for yourself!
Say No to Using Credit
To get out of debt you cannot create more debt. So stop using credit cards and overdrafts to paper things. Say to yourself if you do not have the cash to buy it, then don’t.
Prioritise Your Life
Make a list of the things that matter the most to you eg your health, having a safe home, work that you enjoy, financial stability for your family. If you manage your finances around these priorities, you will feel much better about it all.
